Daily Gratitude Journal Day 12

I am grateful for my morning coffee. I LOVE it! I prepare it just the way I like it. I add just enough creamer and sugar for the right amount of sweetness. There is nothing like the first sip of the day. I just hits my body and warms me up and begins to wake me up.

Psalm 119:103

How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth.

Sitting here drinking my coffee, I am reminded of Psalm 119:103. Reading God’s word first thing in the morning refreshes my spirit and awakens my desire to keep pressing forward in my goals. His word never fails and it is always sweet. It is always encouraging to me. Sometimes it motivates me to continue in something I’m about to give up on. Sometimes it inspires me to start something new. Sometimes it reminds me of who I am. Other times it encourages me to be brave. But one thing that is always the same, is that every single time it shows me how important I am to God and how much He loves me. I am important to Him, so are you. So much so that He took time to plan all your days before you were a day old. He loves you so much that His plans for you are for good and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. God’s Word is living and active and can activate and awaken your spirit to pursue the plans God has for you. Make it your daily bread first thing in the morning! Let it refresh you, and hold you, and awaken you!

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Psalm 139:16

You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

I am a wife and a mom. The Lord has been working in my life. Throughout the last four years, He has flipped my life upside down, healed my heart, and given me a passion and vision to reach out and encourage women with His word.
