I am grateful for encouraging words. I am grateful for those that take the time to share encouraging words. These words have so much power. They have lifted me up when I needed lifting up. I have discovered that the more you surround yourself with encouraging and positive words and those that share them, the more encourage and positive you will become.
Proverbs 13:20
Walk with the wise and become wise, for the companion of the fools suffers harm.
It was those women and men that spoke encouraging words into areas of life in which I struggled. You have to search for them and when you find them, (sometimes you need multiple encouragers for different areas of your life) listen to what they have to say. They can people you may know personally, or they can be a motivational speaker or preacher. Let those encouraging positive words sink in and soon it will be your instinct to push out those negative feelings, emotions, mindset, or attitude and replace them with positive ones. Who are you surrounding yourself with? Who do you listen to on social media? Do they lead you to be negative or positive? Determine if these relationships are still edifying you. If they are, keep them. If they are not, it is time to move one. Surround yourself with positivity and God’s Word and be led into a happier more fulfilling life. A positive person does not quit and gets back up after a failure. Why? Because of a positive mindset and attitude.
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
